Nassar Investment Co. was established in 1984 in Bethlehem - Palestine.
It owns and operates 12 quarries and 2 state of the art stone cutting and polishing plants in Palestine, in addition to a third plant in Amman for it's subsidiary in Jordan. The current two plants in Bethlehem warrant premium-finishing standards, and yield more than 1 million m2 of processed marble and stone every year. The size of the landscape where the plants are located is about 265,000m2, were the storing capacity in raw blocks is now 65,000m3. The production facility is equipped with the most advanced machinery and technology currently available: 2 production lines for slabs; 4 lines for tiles; 9 gang saws; 9 mono blade machines; an antique tile production line; sandblasting, flaming, and bush-hammering lines, as well as many other light and heavy tools which permit the production of high quality products suitable for the international market.
At Nassar, modern machines produce large amounts of standard polished stone tiles and slabs with thicknesses ranging from 1 to 6.6 cm used for all purposes including interior walls and floor tiles. The company also produces stones for exterior cladding and cut-to - size work for small and large projects.
The bulk of stone cut at Nassar comes from hard limestone and dolomite strata. Colors range from white to cream, and from red to pink. The texture varies from fine smooth types to ones with coarse open textures. The Jerusalem stone sold at Nassar is capable of taking the following finishes: polish, honed, sandblasted, bush-hammered, light & rough chiseled, flamed (only the A31), and different types of antique/ tumbled finish.
NIC's workforce comprises of more than 300 workers, placed in charge of the process starting with the quarries, to the fabricating plants, and ending with the marketing and sales of stone and marble in local and foreign markets. Today, its products are distributed in 26 countries including the U.S., Canada, Italy, U.K., France, Belgium, Korea, & Japan. In addition, the company's plant in Jordan supplies the regional markets with Jerusalem stone products. NIC supplied different projects all over the world with its stones: Pres-Byterian church is Seoul, Assisi church in Italy, the Al-Aksa Mosque in Jerusalem, and several hotel projects including the Four Seasons-Cairo; Treasure Island-Las Vegas.

Orient for Marble & Stone:
"Orient" a sister company of Nassar Investment was established in 1999 in Amman-Jordan to Supply the Middle East Market with different Jordanian & Middle Eastern stones. The factory was established on 41,000 m2 of land, with the plant and the showroom covering an area of 4000m2. Thirty-five workers and administrative staff work to produce, around 300,000 m2 of slabs and tiles of different finishes. Tow Gangsaws, one polishing line of slabs and another one of tiles, two bridge cutting machines, in addition to two "Manolamas" make up the primary equipments at Orient's plant. In addition to the High-Tech plant described above, Nassar Investment has a regional office and showroom in Amman-Jordan to manage the marketing activities of the company in the Middle East market.
